Daniel Rea has been photo-hobbyist since 2003.  His enjoyment of photography began when he was only 7, using a snap-shot camera given to him from his mother.   Daniel is a native of the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.  In 1992, he enlisted in the service of the United States Air Force, which allowed him to travel to numerous places around the globe, visiting almost every continent along the way.  His collection of photographs was initially an attempt to share the beauties, cultures and wonders of the world with friends and family.  After some "gentle nudging" from those loved ones, he started Daniel Rea Photography.

With photography, Daniel loves scenes around water, ominous landscapes, and the miniscule details of nature.   Interesting architecture and landmarks also intrigue him.  Throw in a sunset or a chance at a panoramic shot, and he’s in heaven.
